2. Communicate Authentically

The ability to communicate the real you is essential to engaging, motivating and inspiring your different stakeholders. Remember that the spoken word only accounts for 7% of communication, with non-verbal at 55% and your tone at 38%. Be aware of your body language and remember to flex your communication style so you can build strong relationships and influence your different audiences. Your leadership style should be communicated authentically and consistently at all your different touch points – whether it’s in presentations, phone calls, emails, meetings or informal conversations.


3. Be Ambitious

Ask yourself what do you want to be known for? What makes you stand out from the crowd? Building a strong leadership brand requires ambition and optimism.
